Therapy for Teens
Adolescence is a time of immense change—emotionally, physically, and socially. Many teens struggle with anxiety, depression, identity confusion, self-esteem issues, or difficulty managing emotions and relationships. They may act out, withdraw, or feel overwhelmed by pressures they can’t articulate.
Using a developmentally attuned, emotion-focused approach informed by ISTDP, I help adolescents safely explore what’s beneath the surface. By creating a space of warmth, honesty, and trust, we can work through internal conflicts, build emotional resilience, and support healthier connections at home, at school, and with peers. Therapy can be a powerful tool in helping teens feel more grounded, understood, and equipped to navigate the challenges of becoming their own person.
