Experiential Therapy for Lasting Change
If you’ve been living with anxiety, self-doubt, emotional distance, or recurring patterns in relationships, you may already understand why you struggle — yet still feel unable to change it.
Insight alone is often not enough.
Real change requires working directly with the emotional processes that drive your symptoms beneath the surface. My approach helps you access and resolve those processes in a focused, collaborative, and research-supported way.
A Different Kind of Therapy
Many therapies emphasize behavioral coping strategies or intellectual understanding. While those can be helpful, they often leave the underlying emotional patterns untouched.
I practice Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP) — a depth-oriented, experiential approach designed to help you:
Identify and take a stand against unconscious defenses
Access avoided emotions safely and effectively
Reduce anxiety at its source
Break long-standing patterns of self-sabotage
Build emotional resilience and clarity
This work is active, focused, and grounded in decades of clinical research. It is not about endless talking — it is about meaningful change.
You May Be a Good Fit for This Work If:
You struggle with anxiety that feels physical and overwhelming
You feel stuck in repeating relational patterns
You are self-aware but still emotionally blocked
You carry unresolved anger, grief, or shame
You want depth, not just symptom management
You are motivated to engage directly in the process of change
Many of my clients are thoughtful, capable individuals who have tried other forms of therapy and are looking for a different, more engaging approach.
